About 27-0

27-0 is an independent browser game made for rugby league fans who enjoy comparing players across generations. Each run draws a club and decade, asks you to draft a position-balanced XIII, and simulates a fixed 27-match challenge. The game is free to play and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the NRL or any club.

What the game is for

A random club-era draw makes every decision conditional: the player you draw must fit one open position, and a strong card may be less useful than filling a missing role. Classic mode exposes card indicators; Footy IQ hides them; Daily gives everyone the same sequence for that date. These modes provide a small, repeatable comparison game, not a definitive answer to who was the best player or team.

People, data, and corrections

The current dataset contains 17 club records and 544 player-era cards. The initial pool was assembled from public club-history and player-reference material using an automated research pass, followed by manual spot checks of selected spine players. The original source URL and verification date were not retained for every card field. The public data register lists every current record and links to revision-specific player references where available; those links do not prove that each card value has been verified.

Ratings are editorial game values. Selected card indicators may be estimates and should not be treated as official career totals. Match opponents, scores, round performances, and season awards are generated by the simulation. The methodology page describes those limits and the rules behind a result.

Corrections are reviewed against the supporting source and the affected record is updated when appropriate. Send the card ID, page URL, correction, and a reliable reference to [email protected]. Rights holders can use the same address to identify material and explain their concern.
