About 27-0
27-0 is an independent, free browser game for rugby league fans. You build an all-time NRL XIII from a randomly drawn club and era, then test that lineup across a simulated 27-round season. It is a fan project and is not affiliated with the NRL or any club.
What makes the game useful
The game is designed around comparison and strategy rather than a simple player list. Each player is assigned a position, era, peak season, representative highlight, and a role-weighted rating. The simulation uses those values across a full squad and season, so choosing a halfback, hooker, and forward pack creates different trade-offs.
Data and methodology
The player pool covers 17 current NRL clubs across the 1990s, 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s. It was assembled from public club-history and player-reference material, then manually checked for key players. Ratings are editorial game values, not official statistics or an official NRL ranking; where exact historical figures were unavailable, the game uses clearly labelled estimates.
